planking (2)

verb; zero derivation
Lying horizontally with face down and arms stiffened by one's sides, resembling a plank. An internet trend originated in Australia where people took pictures of themselves "planking" in various locations and surroundings. The goal was to be as out of place as possible, but apparently oblivious to the absurdity of it. Some common places for planking photographs were on top of desks, refrigerators, or billboards.

This is the perfect spot for a planking photo.
Etymology : Conversion of the noun plank, from French "planke" meaning slab, to a verb.
