A flying machine that uses four spinning rotors to fly. Popular choice for UAVs with cameras due to increased stability.

Etymology : A compound blend of the prefix quad- and the word "helicopter". Latin prefix "quad". Modern English "helicopter," a machine that flies via one set of rotors.
