Grey Thursday

derivation metephor; noun
Definition: Thanksgiving Day. Derived as the day before Black Friday. With stores opening up closer and closer to Thanksgiving day, some have started to recognize a "grey" area as some stores open Thanksgiving night.

"Black Friday deals are starting earlier and earlier each year, turning Thanksgiving into 'Grey Thursday'"
Etymology : A metaphorical extension of the phrase "Black Friday." The term "Black Friday" came about to describe the day after Thanksgiving, when sales begin. The "Black" is derived from the business definition of the word, where "being in the black" means that the store is making money.
