the turning of events into GIF images
 
The GIFification of the Rob Ford saga has been absolutely hilarious.
Etymology : GIFs have become an extremely popular to share short video clips because they do not require any video-playing software, nor do they require buffering or advertisements before the user can view them. As their popularity has increased, people have needed to use the word in new forms. Thus, many new words derived from "GIF" have come to be over the past few years.
