An unwanted person or an unwanted annoyance Unfortunately society has always viewed those who are homosexual, or have homosexual tendencies, as being less than human and unwanted. Although this has dropped off in recent years due to political correctness, it still survives and thrives in some locations. Originally tgig was used as though it really was just a pure acronym, rather than a word of its own. Apparently if someone said something dumb or stupid, everyone would roll their eyes and say “tgig” to each other. This acronym then evolved into yet another word to describe a homosexual, or someone stupid, as homosexual is applied to that meaning as well. It is not quite the same as ‘gay’, as it is a noun rather than an adjective, but it is similar in all regards. Usage is very low, but it appears to be spreading around quite a bit. I’ve heard it occur more and more frequently on campus since I first heard it, but its sill rare to hear and seems to be used primarily within one circle of friends.
