Describes an emotion that is a mixture of sadness and anger. Sangry is a blend that has variable meaning because there are many variations between sad and angry. Its definition, therefore, encompasses a variety of different feelings, rather than a specific one. Sangry is a general term to describe a feeling that has yet to get a more specific word.
 
“I’m so sangry about having two midterms back-to-back.”
Etymology : A blend of sad from Old English sæd “weary of” + angry from Old Norse anger + y “full of trouble”
