A short word used to refer to the word “desserts.” Zerts did not exist as a word until it was coined on the NBC television show “Parks and Recreation,” but since then, it has become very popular with young adults.
Etymology : Clipping of Dessert “the sweet course eaten at the end of a meal,” from French dessert “last course”
