Hard Drive

noun; zero derivation
Brain. (“I can’t understand why she is doing this. I would do anything to get access in her hard drive to see what she is thinking”.) The author is using hard drive ( a device that stores information in computers) as a metaphor for the brain of the Al Qaeda; i.e. the thing that has the information on workings of Al Qaeda, more than just data. But thoughts, emotions, convictions and struggles.
