Movember(2)

blending Mustache and November. Mustache is clipped. Both are nouns. Together it is also a noun.; noun
Month when men don't shave.

November with an "m" instead of an "n". Both are nasal stops. Because it is simpler to use movember than say he was growing a mustache in November to support awareness for prostate and testicular cancer.
Etymology : Mustache: "From 1580s, from French moustache (1400s)" (etymonline) "From Medieval Greek moustakion 'upper lip, mustache'" (etymonline). November: "From Latin through Old French 'novembre'; "From 9th month 'novem' (year began in March)" (etymonline).
Source : "For the uninitiated, Movember is the time of year (every November) when men all over the world grow their upper lip hair, AKA mustaches, to raise funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer." From: http://edgifyme.com/chanel-does-…-does-movember/. 10/3/13
