YOLO (2)

acronym; popular, not technical
You only live once. First used by the singer/rapper Drake in his song "The Motto." Many have adopted YOLO as the motto of their lives, using it as a reminder that life is short, so you might as well take risks to make the most of it. YOLO is often said as justification for rash decisions and actions. The acronym became popular on the internet, on Twitter, and now, colloquially.

I probably shouldn't go out tonight because I have an exam tomorrow, but YOLO.
Etymology : Acronym for you only live once, all words from Old English
