Trampede

blending of trample and stampede; verb
Used to refer to the action of getting mobbed by friends, creating the atmosphere of almost being trampled in a stampede.

Analogous to being almost trampled in a stampede. Instead of a stampede of cattle or other animal, trampede refers to being attacked by multiple friends, usually after winning a team event. The feeling of getting mobbed would feel analogous to being trampled by a stampede, hence the blending of the two words to create trampede.
