The supposed "relationship" between movie stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, which has been in the tabloids since the summer of 2004, and is rumored to be the reason for Brad’s divorce from Jennifer Aniston. Even before Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s “dream marriage” fell apart in January 2005, there were rumors of Brad having cheated on Jennifer with his co-star in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Angelina Jolie. These rumors became much worse and were the focus of tabloid stories for many months during Brad’s divorce, and their insistence on remaining silent about whether they are dating or not means these stories continue circulating now, 9 months after the breakup. This media circus has come to resemble another one that was so named "Bennifer," so this one was named similarly.
