DANCY

adjective;
Resulting from a series of steps in which the outcome is not guaranteed. Genetic algorithms are a complicated subject with many different parameters and complex terminology. By relating this one issue—reliability—back to something in common knowledge, it was easier to get the point across.

Etymology : dancy. Metaphor coming from 'dance' (the movements on a dance floor)
