derivation; noun
A TA who works directly with students during their classes or labs (as opposed to just grading and holding separate office hours)
 
"I know that you expressed an interested in labbying Comp 160."
Etymology : "Lab" (an academic period devoted to work or study in a room equipped for scientific experimentation or research) + "-y" (inclined to) Ultimately means "one who is inclined to go to the lab.
