bodycrafting

compounding; verb
Term used to describe a lifestyle where someone has dedicated themselves to the betterment of their physical attributes. To bodycraft is not to become extremely muscular, with little to no body fat. To bodycraft is to realize what type of person someone wants to be, and how their actions concerning their body reflects that. The act of bodycrafting is to become fit, and to become happy with the body that you've developed.

"Once Jim dedicated his life to bodycrafting, he became a new man. His life really turned around once he realized what type of image he wanted to portray to the world, and got it."
Etymology : A compound of the words "body" and "craft". The word body comes from Old English bodig "trunk, chest" (of a man or animal); related to Old High German botah. The word craft comes from the verb Old English cræftan "to exercise a craft", and before that, "to make skillfully". Therefore, the compound of these two words would mean, in a literal sense, to skillfully craft, or transform, your body.
