Genderbread

blending and clipping of gender and gingerbread; noun
The name given to the infographic to describe the idea of how people are formed in terms of gender, and how there is not a clear definition for gender but rather a scale, similar to how food is.

Genderbread is used to describe how people, just like gingerbread, are made in varying degrees, each with potentially different tastes. Genderbread is a blend of gender and gingerbread to express how gender is not necessarily set to be in black and white terms but rather spectrum, just as cooking has its own spectrums. In addition, the infographic used to describe this spectrum of gender is called the "Genderbread Person", with the person instead of man to not show gender bias.
Etymology : Blend of gender and gingerbread; "gender" - in 1300, "kind, sort, class," from Old French gendre (12c., Modern French genre), from stem of Latin genus (genitive generis) "race, stock, family; kind, rank, order; species; "gingerbread" - late 13c., gingerbrar, from Old French ginginbrat "ginger preserve," from Medieval Latin gingimbratus "gingered," from gingiber. The ending changed by folk etymology to -brede "bread," a formation attested by mid-14c (from etymonline)
