iDevice

analogy; noun
Any Apple device or device that looks like an Apple device. Used as a general term for a form factor similar in design to that of Apple's.
 
"Look at all of the iDevices in this classroom!"
Etymology : An analogy based upon the Apple naming convention (iPad, iPod, etc.). An example of a brand name moving into regular usage in the English languages as a generic term.
