sups

adjective; adverb; clipping clipping of "super"
intensifier used to mean very, especially, particularly, intensely. The prefix element super- was generalized and widened into a word with the same meaning which was then clipped to “sups” in modern slang (2013).
 
“I accidentally looked straight at his eyes and it was sups awk!”
Etymology : Etymology: word-forming element from Latin adverb and preposition super "above, over, on the top of, beyond, besides, in addition to," from PIE *uper "over; Greek hyper, Old English ofer "over," Gothic ufaro "over, across," Gaulish ver-, Old Irish for), comparative of root *upo "under." The prefix element super- was generalized and widened into a word with the same meaning which was then clipped to “sups” in modern slang (2013).
