pregret

verb; blending
to worry about things that have not occurred yet/in the future I’m not really sure why the person blended pre- with regret, since people usually regret about things in the past, and pre- denotes before as well. Maybe pro- would have been a better prefix for the word, but I guess pregret sounds better than progret. I’ve only heard it being used once, probably because the word doesn’t really make sense.

I’m starting to pregret about classes next semester.
