dank #2

adjective
to one’s liking (slang)

A term that is comparable to the slang meaning of the word “cool.” This word is common in marijuana culture, and people use the word to describe particularly pleasing marijuana
Etymology : This is semantic change because dank shifts from meaning “moist” to a positive adjective describing something that is to one’s liking. “Dank” was first a verb that meant “to moisten” from Scandinavian, but the verb from is now obsolete. The verb underwent conversion from a verb to an adjective.
Source : I was talking to a friend on the phone, and she described the concert she went to as “dank.” (10/10/13)
