- This term came in to use along with "Thanksgivukkah", the combination of the holidays of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah. Furthering the combination of the symbolism of the two holidays, the turkey, a symbol of abundance, was combined with the Jewish menorah, a symbolic candle-holder lit during Hanukkah. "Menurkey" is blend created to describe this combination of motifs.
