word

zero derivation; verb
To speak or spell, or in general use the English language. Usually used in a negative form, such as "I don't word well," after one has made a grammatical mistake, in which it is meant to be ironic.

"I don't word well."
Etymology : The word "word" has been extended metonymically to mean the act of communicating in English, when words are really only the units of the language to which we ascribe meaning, not how we convey them. It developed as a sarcastic way to make fun of oneself after making a silly mistake, as using "word" in the described manner would be considered improper English by most people.
