acronym
(verb) An acronym meaning “bring up my post.” Used online to bring posts up to the top of a thread
 
“Bump” is often just commented on threads. Also commenting a “b” assumes the same thing. [Related: bumping] Bump is likely to have stuck in the internet community because of its easy use as an acronym and the usefulness of its function. When a post gets lost among many other posts, commenting a simple “bump” can make it relevant for others again.
Etymology : Abbreviation/ acronym, subtype of blending Originating in facebook groups, “bump” was termed because every time a person comments on a thread, that post is brought up to the top of the group page.
