Pimp

noun; zero derivation
1) a guy who gets lots of girls and is very attractive (“he’s such a pimp who gets all the ladies”), or 2) used to describe something cool/fashionable (“those shoes are pimp”). Slang term for describing an attractive guy or one who can get a lot of girls. The formation could be zero derivation if using the other definition for the term, which is an adjective (pimp = cool) whereas the original word was a noun. Thus, they have similar meanings but nowadays, it is a good thing (amelioration). Whereas in the past, it was looked down upon with negative connotation. This term is mostly used amongst teens and probably created in hip-hop culture as another way of saying 'cool' or describing a guy who is popular with girls.

That girl wants you, you're such a pimp!
Etymology : Zero derivation. - formed from the original word ‘pimp’ (a man who controls prostitutes)
Source : Heard in a conversation between two guys
