suped

adjective;
improved or fixed up to be more stylish or cool by adding additional features to one’s car, such as sound systems or exhaust pipes Possibly derived from the original word “super” (adjective) meaning excellent, and becomes a verb by adding a -d to the end (“I’m going to supe up my car”). This would be a deletion of the last letter 'r' to form a verb. It can also be used as an adjective to describe one’s car (“Check out that suped up car”). Most often used in hip-hop culture as another slang term or easier way of saying “fixed up.” This represents a phonetic change from super (approximant) to suped (stop) - both are alveolar place of articulation but the manner of articulation is different. Many slang words these days are formed from changing the ending of established words.
