rasturbated

verb; derivation
To have used the site rasterbator.net to make a very large image, usually for use as a poster

rasterbator.net itself is derived from the noun raster, the verb-forming suffix bate, and the the noun-forming suffix -or giving the additional meaning “that which”, for a full parsing raster+bate+or “that which rasterizes”. The use of bate is interesting, and likely through analogy to masturbate, since the usual verb form of raster is rasterize, and the perhaps controversial choice of verb-formation is likely a marketing gimmick. Rasturbated then back-formed the verb rasturbate from the website name, including the spelling change to normalize it with masturbate, and added the past-tense -d suffix.
Etymology : From rasterbator.net, a company
