Exciting and intense in an enjoyable way. “The DJ at the club last night was so live. His energy really made the whole party even more fun.”
 
The term has undergone a metaphorical shift, extending the meaning of being alive as having to do with motion and action to any exciting activity.
Etymology : A shortening of the term “alive”, from the Old English on life “in living”
