This adjective is typically used in the context of gaming. It is an adjective form from the verb form “tilted”, when something is slanted or not even. The origin of this usage is probably derived from pinball tables being “on tilt”, and gradually made its way across all of gaming.
Etymology : Similar to the etymology for “tilt”.
