flobby

noun; blending
a common space on a certain floor, especially not the ground floor, as in a residential college such as Sid
 
This term is used to differentiate between different lobbies in the building. Sid Richardson College has an elevator lobby and a floor lobby. This term is used to differentiate between the two in a much shorter way.
Etymology : a blend of floor (ultimately from PIE *plaros ‘flat surface’) and lobby (from Medieval Latin laubia ‘covered walk in a monastery’)
