Used to mean the same thing as using the character ‘/’ to connect phrases or sentences together that are related.
 
This word stems from the character ‘/’ to denote “and” or “or” which people have start to say out loud similar to saying lol out loud. This technique has started to become popular with the youth generation as texting language is more dominant.
Etymology : Slang usage of the slash character out loud coming from text-speak.
