Dunno

verb; blending
shortened way of saying “don’t know;” meaning uncertain or not sure Easier response since 'dunno' only has one syllable versus two in 'don’t know.' Slang way of forming a contraction by just bleding the two words together (ie. fosho = for sure). This slang term has become a quite acceptable response in everyday language but is still seen as informal. This has become a common part of computer language as well since people always shorten words and simplify language as much as possible.

What are you doing tonight? - I dunno.
Etymology : Blend of the words 'don't' and 'know'
