noun; derivation
Used to refer to a barbecue.
 
Flame refers to the method of cooking (over a flame), and the addition of the suffix greatly changes the meaning of the root (although it does not necessarily make the meaning of the new word opaque).
Etymology : The addition of the suffix –age to the root flame.
