CAD

verb; acronym; zero derivation
to make a 3-dimensional digital representation based on plans for a design or based on a physical object

Computer Aided Design, shortened to the acronym CAD, is an important set of software programs used often in engineering. “CAD” is engineering slang and the need for a CAD model is common enough that the noun form is giving way to the word’s being used as a verb, to decrease the need to say something like “make a CAD model of” and streamline communication
Etymology : noun “CAD” from “Computer Aided Design”, zero derivation to become verb
