Facetime

compounding
A word, much like ‘Skype’ that is used as a verb form to mean the act of video calling.
 
This word first came about when Apple announced the iPhone 4, as an app that could only be used in iOS devices to make video calls over wifi or data network. Over time, people started to use this noun in a verb form, to refer to the act of video calling.
Etymology : Conversion of the word ‘Facetime’, which is a compound formed from the roots ‘face’ and ‘time’
