Shits

verb; derivation
The term shits is used to refer to a situation or event that is unpleasant, unfortunate, or negative in general. It has a similar meaning to the curse sucks in the sense that they are both meant to describe unfavorable circumstances. However, shits is harsher than the word sucks.

“Being too exhausted to do anything you enjoy shits. The strain that an annoying long work week puts on your relationships with yourself and others can be enormous and totally shits.”
Etymology : The word shit is a common curse word in English. However, it is generally used as a noun or an exclamation as opposed to a verb. Sean McCabe from the band Bomb the Music Industry introduced the word shits to his fellow bandmates who then included this word in the title of a song. As a result, the usage of the word has disseminated to those who listen to the band.
