porkly

blending; adjective
The quality of having small prickles, especially in the case of stubble.

This word appears to be used to describe with slightly greater specificity a texture somewhere between prickly and pokey. It’s most common use is to describe the texture of stubble. It is a word that is not yet in common use among a large, but is instead employed only by a single family group that I know of.
Etymology : Porkly is a blend of prickly and poky. Prickly is an adjective derivation of the word ‘prickle’, which is descended from the old English word ‘pricel’ which means ‘thing to prick with, goad, point’. Poky is descended from the word ‘puken’ meaning ‘to poke, nudge’ which is possibly related to either the Middle Dutch word ‘poken’ Reference: “poke (v.).” Online Etymology Dictionary, https://www.etymonline.com/word/poke.
