OC
adjective; acronym
refers to a student who lives off campus OC refers to a Rice undergraduate who lives away from his or her residential college. The word ‘OC’ has varying degrees: someone who is OC and never comes to their residential college is referred to as “deep OC”. Living OC is usually not a choice students make. Demand for on campus housing is high and space is limited, so students are usually forced to live OC for one year.
