When a certain resource has been exhausted (or should be exhausted), saying 'bah' is used at the start of the phrase that explains its exhaustion, e.g. "Bah! No more!", "Bah! That's enough". Commonly used on pets that are begging for food or toddlers that are crying as an explanation that there should be no more crying.
Etymology : Nonce word that stuck in this situation. Almost always followed by "no more" or "that's enough".
