expression: you’re lucky, but I’m jealous and in a much worse situation Typos are a frequent occurrence in most internet conversations. In this case, I meant to say “lucky you,” but accidentally left off the y in lucky. “Luck you” ended up sounding like I meant a combination of “fuck you” with the word lucky, so it was as if I was saying that my friend was lucky, and good for them, but at the same time I was jealous and jokingly angry because I was not as lucky.
 
friend: Tuesday’s almost an entire day off for me. Woohoo! me: Luck you
