ghosted

zero derivation; verb; participle
past participle of ghost (V). to stop talking to someone unexpectedly/out of nowhere, to leave them hanging; to “disappear” on someone.

it is considerably negative in connotation, no one wants to get “ghosted”. One could say “She got ghosted” or “He ghosted her”.
Source : (Fall 2016) In conversation, someone brought up a situation form a few months prior and referred to what took place as me getting “ghosted” by someone.
