- Somebody is considered bellige if they are intoxicated and being very raucous during any event in which others must console or contain said person out of risk of possible harm to others or self, even though it is mostly a very minimal risk.

Etymology : This comes from a clipping of the word “belligerent,” meaning hostile and aggressive, and is used in the same sense but uniquely applied to those that are belligerent while being intoxicated.
