Cursed (2)

adjective; zero derivation
Makes people extremely uncomfortable or uneasy, most likely in an image.

A thing is said to be cursed if when it is viewed is makes people very uneasy or uncomfortable due to one or more of its elements being very questionable or suspicious, such as a seemingly innocent photo of a person that has a sinister apparition in the background.
Etymology : The word is converted from “cursed,” meaning affected by a curse or harmful spell. Such a curse could cause uneasiness or similar effects in others, and so it came to describe things which can cause those effects in others. It can also be derived from how apparitions could appear in photos and the link between apparitions and curses, and then came to be generalized to any photo that makes people extremely uneasy or uncomfortable.
