an individual who is acting out control usually due to taking a drug or other unknown substance
 
Geekin’ is commonly used among African American drug users. It is usually said with exciting emotions. The person who is “geekin” is usually acting out of character that is necessary to describe that person as “geekin”. It is necessary to note that a person is usually “geekin” after becoming high on drugs.
Etymology : Geekin’ is a clipping from the word geeking. There is also some semantic change from geeking to geekin’. The root geek is geeking stems from the German word geck which means a fool. It makes sense that geeking means becoming overly excited about a subject. The word geeking’ has become geekin’ which describes someone becoming overly excited due to drugs. An individual who is sober cannot be “geekin”
