Dihedral-ly

adjective; derivation (Affixation)
(Of plane wings) Folding or bending upward

The word is a nonce word that was used in a YouTube video to refer to how the model plane wings were getting increasingly bent upward. The word is formed from an existing word, “Dihedral,” which refers to the tilt/angle of a plane’s wings, and the suffix -ly which means “having the qualities of” to form an adjective. Although “Dihedral” refers to the angle of plane wings in general, it usually refers to an upward angle so the new word uses the more common meaning to build off of.
Etymology : From the word “Dihedral” plus -ly, an adjective forming suffix.
