stallion

zero derivation noun
Used to describe a male who is looked up to by his male peers. ‘Stallions’ tend to be very confident individuals, who have great faith in their own abilities and are able to lead people effectively. They also tend to be very well-kempt and are described as exerting a very manly presence. ‘Stallions’ also tend to be very successful in the dating scene.

However, it can also refer to people who do not necessarily exemplify these traits, but are just extremely good at something (i.e. academics, sports).
Etymology : Zero derivation formed from redefining the traditional definition of ‘stallion,’ meaning an uncastrated male horse.
