kool

adjective; interjection; other word formation type Creative Respelling
Really interesting, awesome; an exclamation of excitement; cool

The word kool is used in the same context as “cool,” but was formed both for fun and to “personalize” the word in an attempt to differentiate oneself from the rest of society. Therefore, there aren’t really different contexts where one should use kool over “cool” and visa-versa because the idea is that kool simply replaces the word “cool” in all usages. Of course, kool is very informal and should be used around friends, not formal events.
