Roasted

verb reanalysis
To be ‘roasted’ by someone means to be insulted by someone, usually in a joking manner. For example, if one of your friends has just told you that your hair makes you look like Louis XIV, another one of your friends might reply “Roasted”.

“You just got roasted!”
Etymology : The term ‘roasted’ probably arose as a synonym for ‘getting burned’, as in the phrase “you just got burned” that’s been a popular saying to someone who’s just been insulted since around 2011. The usage of ‘roasted’ rose significantly with the viral YouTube video ‘The Rap Battle (Parody)” from 2013, in which the term ‘roasted!’ was used considerably.
