- The word “angsh,” used in casual conversation within my circle of friends, is a clip of the word “anxious” and has largely retained the meaning of its parent word. It also serves somewhat as a euphemism, to lighten the tone and lessen the gravity that normally comes when expressing one’s feelings of anxiety to friends.
