- Jebaited is an emote originated from Twitch, a live streaming service website mostly focused on video game streaming. Jebaited features the face of the organizer of Community Effort Orlando, Alex Jebailey, looking confused and stunned. It is a blend of, not surprisingly, “Jebailey” and the word “baited”. “Baited” itself in slang roughly means to be fooled, to be played or to be lured into a less than desirable situation. By attaching the word to a person related to gaming and naming an emote after it, people now specifically use “Jebaited” in a gaming context.
