The acronym slatt stands for both “Slime love all the time” and “Slime life all the time”.
Etymology : Slatt is a term popularized by rapper Young Thug. Between the two meanings of the word, the word “slime” (see above), another word popularized by Thug, is the focal point of both. The word is rarely used in the regular flow of a sentence, rather as an exclamation at the end of the sentence or dialogue. The term is now widely used in rap culture and lyrics especially by rappers from Atlanta, the same city that Young Thug is from. An example of this is rapper Playboi Carti, who follows many of his lines in his songs with the word, using it as an ad-lib to ad a punch to his line.
